- Online e-Visa application on indianvisaonline.gov.in at least 4 days before arrival
- Digital photo and passport scan
- Return or onward ticket and sufficient funds
- Printed ETA (status GRANTED) carried on arrival
30-day e-Tourist USD 25 (USD 10 in Apr-Jun per fee schedule), 1 year USD 40, 5 years USD 200 per official fee schedule, plus 3 percent bank charge. Fee schedule PDF is undated.

Use the official site only: Indian Visa Online (e-Visa) - Government of India. Many look-alike sites charge extra fees.
Have your passport, a photo and a payment card ready. Your passport must be the one you travel with.
