  1. Use the official site only: Thailand Official e-Visa (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Many look-alike sites charge extra fees.

  2. Have your passport, a photo and a payment card ready. Your passport must be the one you travel with.

  3. Apply well before you fly and keep the approval on your phone and on paper.
