Good to know before you travel to Turkey
- Passport must be valid at least 60 days beyond the end of the permitted stay (visa, e-visa or visa-free period); the Turkish MFA advises at least 6 months validity from arrival
- Visa-free stays and e-visas are for tourism or business only; work or study needs a consular visa
- E-visas must be obtained only via the official portal evisa.gov.tr; e-visa fees there are lower than fees for visas on arrival
- Conditional e-visas for some nationalities are single entry, up to 30 days, entry by air only
- Fees for e-visas are shown on evisa.gov.tr only after selecting nationality and may change without notice
